My mug

I wrote a weekly online opinion column for 2½ years called "Unsubstantiated Facts," which was quoted widely and inspired various projects. I've had to put the column on hiatus because I'm writing a book, but I hope to revive it sometime fairly soon. My political commentary has also appeared in the New York Times, Miami Herald, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Philadelphia Daily News and many other outlets.

Here's an archive of my Unsubstantiated Facts pieces from 1997-99:

March 13, 1999: DiMaggio, Lewinsky Celebrities of Different Eras

January 16, 1999: BC Vs. MJ: Who Really Rules America?

December 19, 1998: Congress Versus Clinton: Liars' Club

December 12, 1998: Are Americans As Dumb As the GOP Thinks?

November 21, 1998: So Much For the Sweet Mysteries of Life

November 14, 1998: Jones Settlement: Is That All There Is?

November 7, 1998: Just Another Humdrum Week in Washington

October 31, 1998: You're Dressed as a What-O-Crat?
